Students at an academic session in the HITS auditorium.
An undergraduate publication record
Publishing is normally the preserve of postgraduate and doctoral researchers. At HITS it happens at undergraduate level: 149 papers in a single academic year, every one of them arising from a project carried out inside the institute rather than bought in or outsourced.
The achievement reflects a deliberate culture of original research, critical thinking and technical writing built into the final year
By converting classroom ideas into published research, students become active contributors to the global scientific community before they graduate — and carry a documented research profile into employment or postgraduate applications.

Where it leads
A genuine publication record is exactly what strengthens a postgraduate application, and the Higher Education Cell works with students on turning that record into admission to competitive programmes in India and abroad.
