The HITS campus is Wi-Fi enabled, giving students and faculty network access across academic blocks, laboratories and common areas.
Connectivity is a working requirement rather than a convenience at this institute
Students use the network to reach the institute’s own LMS portal, which delivers industry-oriented courses and specialised training through interactive modules; to run cloud and DevOps exercises; to work with the AI-based teaching tools introduced into classrooms from AY 2025–26; and to carry out the literature searches and submissions behind the 149 research papers published by final-year B.Tech students in AY 2025–26.
The campus computing laboratories provide equipment for students who prefer to work on institute machines, and were used for programmes including the NASSCOM Generative AI workshop and the Data Science bootcamp, in which 62 students worked on live projects using high-end servers.
