The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2001-2002 with an initial intake of 60 seats, which was increased to 120 seats in 2006. The department offers postgraduate programmes — M.Tech in CSE (since 2007) and M.Tech in Computer Networks & Information Security (since 2008). It is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories housing around 800 computers, high-end servers, licensed industry-standard software and 120 Mbps leased-line connectivity. The department has well qualified, experienced and doctorate faculty.
