The Department of Internet of Things bridges hardware and software — embedded systems, sensor networks, edge computing and cloud connectivity — to build smart, connected products. Leveraging HITS's DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO), automated manufacturing hub and student-built autonomous electric vehicle projects, students gain hands-on experience with drone technology, industrial automation and real-time IoT systems. The department equips engineers to design end-to-end connected solutions for industry, agriculture, healthcare and smart infrastructure.
The Internet of Things is where the physical and digital worlds meet. Our students work on real connected systems — from drones and autonomous vehicles to sensor-driven automation — learning to engineer reliable, secure and scalable IoT solutions that industry can deploy today.
