T-Works
HITS students at T-Works, where the visit programme opened an ongoing internship collaboration.
The student visit to T-Works on 9 and 10 August 2024 began a continuing collaboration aimed at offering internships and further opportunities to HITS students. T-Works provides world-class prototyping infrastructure — electronics and SMT assembly, 3D printing, metal and wood fabrication, ceramics and laser cutting, and environmental testing and validation — giving interns exposure to the full path from idea to business-ready prototype.
National Small Industries Corporation
HITS has an internship collaboration with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), whose General Manager Mr. Subramani has taught on campus and took part in the launch of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell. NSIC works to empower MSMEs and startups, and also ran an on-campus workshop on the manufacture of solar panels.
Kaynes Technology India Limited
Diploma mechanical students on placement with Kaynes Technology.
Kaynes Technology has hosted industrial internships for diploma mechanical students, giving them supervised placement in an electronics manufacturing environment.
